The Managing Director, Alan Carter, had worked for two decades in the commercial field of heating in the Thames Valley area before he expanded the company 10 years ago to also serve the domestic market within a 10 mile radius of Newbury. Active Heating now has a team of 4 engineers and plumbers and a manned office to take your calls.
The engineers undergo annual training to comply with the requirements of legislation, Building Control regulations and the national Oil and Gas registration bodies. We are also registered at Approved Contractor status with the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers and comply with their inspection requirements.
Six years ago Active Heating established a £20 monthly payment scheme, called Active Care, for maintaining heating and hot water systems in the domestic market. This has proved to be a popular alternative to similar schemes offered by national companies. A local service for local people by local engineers.
