Active Heating is Corgi registered for gas installations and OFTEC registered for Oil fired installations. We are ready to assist customers with any domestic heating appliance and have a wide knowledge of the leading brands offires, gas and oil boilers andcookers.
We will always try and repair a piece of equipment on the day but, if that is not possible, will obtain the parts as soon as possible and make a return visit to complete the work. We will also tell you if the cost of a repair is uneconomical and make suggestions as to alternative solutions.
For peace of mind take out a regular maintenance contract where, for a small monthly payment, you can assured that your system will be kept in tip top order.

Emergency Call Out
No matter how much care and attention you take to maintaining your systems there is always the possibility of a breakdown. It is then that the Active Heating team can really be a life saver.
With expertise in gas, oil and water systems there are few occasions when we can't help. The faster a visit is made the less damage or inconvenience is likely so we will do our best to get to a customer as soon as possible, even if this is just to make a temporary repair.
Customers with Regular Maintenance contracts will be pleased to know that the cost of calls outs and parts are covered by their monthly payments (subject to some exclusion on parts).
- Boiler breakdown - gas or oil
- Central heating fault repair
- Water leaks
IMPORTANT: If you smell gas, leave the house or office and call us or TRANSCO from a phone outside of the property. DO NOT re-enter the property until it has been declared safe to do so! Here is the checklist for you to remember.
- Turn the gas supply off immediately at the meter
- Extinguish all sources of ignition
- Do NOT smoke
- Do NOT operate electrical lights or power switches
- If necessary, ventilate the building by opening windows and doors
- Ensure access to the premises can be made
- Report the gas escape to Transco on 0800 111 999
- Do not enter a basement

New Installations
When planning a change to your central heating or water heating systems please talk to Active Heating as early as possible. We are able to advise on the best position for equipment and will work with architects and builders to ensure the most efficient systems are in place.
We are happy to install utilities that you may have purchased, i.e. cookers and gas fires and will not only install them but give you a safety check certificate in the process.
We can, of course, supply and fit a wide range of utilities please ask us to quote.
