Last August I asked Active Heating Services to quote for a new boiler installation at my home.

Alan visited soon after to inspect the then current installation and in an obvious bid to limit my expectations, declared that while a new boiler would be more efficient, it may not provide the improvements in low noise level, higher water pressure & flow consistency that I wanted.

I choose to go ahead anyway.

When Tony arrived a few weeks later he proceeded to remove the old boiler, replumb the bathroom removing several feet of prehistoric and redundant piping, installed the new  heater, leaving the bathroom in a state that Mrs.P would be proud of, he then went on to flush and test the heating system on what must have been the hottest day of 2016.

The result is a much quieter system that heats water instantly with an improved and constant flow, and while this was marvellous, the heating was not coming on as the weather was still too warm.

In the last couple of weeks the centra heating has engaged perfectly, the house is warm and comfortable and the water temperature & flow are still excellent.

Active Heating Services provided an exemplary service and I would (and do) have no hesitation in recommending them to all.

I am writing to think you and your fantastic team for sorting out my boiler recently. An unusual part had failed but your guys refused to be beaten and eventually found the problem which meant that I did not need to replace the whole boiler at great expense.

You helped arrange everything despite being on holiday and Alan even came out on a Sunday to complete the job and give us our heating back in time for the first cold snap.

As always, my wife and I look forward to recommending Active Heating whenever we can.

Hot water system repair: Debbie, with help from her colleagues at Active Heating Services recently delivered first class service for me. My hot water system went on the blink and as a chimney sweep in busy season I was very grateful to have my hot water supply restored.

The system failed over the weekend so I went to work on Monday morning dreading the thought of a cold shower at the end of the day. I gave Debbie a call that morning and she sent one of her lads round the same day. Not only did they repair the system, they did it in time so there was hot water available by the time I came home. What better service could I have wanted?

We’ve had a few problems with our heating and hot water system and Active Heating have demonstrated outstanding customer care. Alan attended for three evenings in a row to sort our issues out and on one occasion did not leave till 10pm. His desire not to leave us smelly and cold was wonderful and we appreciated the time he took and the good mannered spirit with which he carried out the work given that we are sure he would much rather been at home eating his dinner ! Your Active Care is the best available locally and knocks the spots off the national players! I know this because I did quite a lot of research before making my decision to put my faith in you. I have an older boiler and was worried this may cause difficulties but when Alan arrived he assured me that this wouldn’t be a problem and proceeded to give the system a full service which was included in the price.
